E-mail Forwarding in Shared Hosting
In case you have a shared hosting package with our company and you set up e-mail addresses inside your account, you will be able to forward it with only a couple of mouse clicks to another e-mail address of your choosing. The feature can be activated whenever you make a new email address or any time afterwards and disabled just as easily if you change your mind. This is done with the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you will manage your account. In addition, you will have the option to decide if a duplicate of the incoming emails will stay on our servers or not. The advantage of this feature is basically that you will always have a copy on your end if anything happens with the other mailbox or maybe it isn't active for whatever reason at the time an e-mail is forwarded. When the option is not enabled, a message will be received, forwarded and deleted from our servers no matter if the remote email is working or not, so it can be quite a wise decision to have it active just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server through our company, it will take just a couple of clicks inside the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the e-mail addresses configured on our server to a third-party address. In the same area you will also be able to observe how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and where the incoming messages are going. You can enable or disable a forwarding account at any time and during the process you could also decide whether a backup copy of the messages has to be maintained in our system or not. Even though this feature isn't a requirement, it is extremely handy because you will have a backup of the messages on our end just in case that something happens with the third-party email address. Even when they've got just a short-term issue, you run the risk of losing e-mails as the moment our system receives and forwards a message, absolutely nothing will be maintained on our end unless you chosen a backup to be saved.
