Registrar Lock in Shared Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with each and every shared hosting package that we offer, will grant you absolute command over your domain names. You will find all domains registered through us conveniently listed in alphabetical order in a separate section of the Control Panel. Those whose extensions support the registrar lock option will have a small padlock icon next to them. By clicking on the icon, you can see if the particular domain name is locked or unlocked and you can alter the current status by clicking once again – the procedure is as straightforward as that. You will not have to wait for the change to propagate or for our company to do anything, as the change of the status takes effect instantaneously, even if you notice something else on WHOIS lookup sites. After all, it takes time for such sites to ‘refresh’ the information that they display.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you’ve registered a domain through us and you would like to transfer it away, you can quickly unlock it through the very same Hepsia Control Panel, which you use to manage your semi-dedicated server account. All domain registrations will be displayed in alphabetical order in your account and you’ll see a small padlock icon on the right side of each domain name there, provided that its generic or country-code extension supports the registrar lock feature. You can find out whether the domain is locked or not by clicking on this icon and change the current status by clicking on it again. You can then continue and initiate the domain transfer process straight away without waiting for the status to be changed on WHOIS lookup websites, as the update will propagate instantly without you or us having to do anything else.
